Surfers Paradise

For another time we met in front of the bus station to go to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. After 2 hours drive, we got off the bus and saw this huge skyline. Surfers Paradise is a big city with 18,500 inhabitants. It is like the USA with big shopping centers and a lot of fast food. However, It was raining for 2 Days and we couldn`t do so much. We went shopping,drank coffee,went quickly to the beach and went out. Thats it. Although we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our trip, we are happy that we are back in our Byron Bay.

Übers Wochenende waren wir für

2 Tage in Surfers Paradise. Dies ist eine grosse Stadt an der Gold Coast mit einer riesigen Skyline am Beach. Da es die ganze Zeit geregnet hat konnten wir nicht so viel unternehmen. Wir gingen viel Coffee trinken und shoppen. Es war wieder einmal ein sehr lustiger Ausflug. Nun sind wir wieder zurück in Byron Bay wo es seit 1 Woche regnet. Hoffentlich wird es besser am Wochenende.

At the Evening of the 9th of February  we went out to celebrate my Birthday on twelve o`clock. We were at the Beach Hotel and then after in Woodys. In the early morning we walked up to the Lighthouse to see the Sunrise. I walked all the way up because my Bicycle was broken after Woodys.(Also my Mobilephone is broken, I don`t know why) =)

Am Abend vom 9.Februar musste ich mich dann parat machen um aus zu gehen. Wir gingen ins Beach Hotel um meinen 23. Geburtstag zu feiern. Danach ging es noch weiter ins Woodys. nach dem vielen feiern liefen wir 45min hinauf zum Ligthouse um den Sonnenaufgang zu betrachten. Ich musste laufen weil mein Fahrrad nun nicht mehr zu befahren ist. (und mein Handy ist auch nicht mehr so ganz.) =)

Rainforest

On the 9th of February we went to the Rainforest near from Byron Bay. A friend of mine, her housemother, pick us up at school and we drove to the Rainforest for about 2 hours. Than we walked 20min inside to the rainforest to see the huge waterfall. It was a beautiful Day with the guys I was there.
Am 9.Februar wurden wir eingeladen eine free Tour in den Regenwald zu machen. Wir fuhren mit der Gastmutter von Livia in den Regenwald um den riesigen Wasserfall zu bestaunen. Wir fuhren 2 Stunden im nirgendwo herum bis wir dann am Ziel angekommen sind. Wir liefen 20min in den Regenwald hinein bis wir beim Wasserfall waren. Es war ein wundervoller Tag.

Trip to Sydney

On the 25th of January we flew directly from Ballina to Sydney after School. After we had checked into our room, we went out to darling Harbour to see the amazing Skyline of Syndey.

Am 25.Januar sind wir nach der Schule direkt von Ballina nach Sydney geflogen. Nach dem wir unser Hostel Zimmer bezogen haben gingen wir nach Darling Harbour um die Skyline von Sydney zu bestaunen.

The next Day, it was Australian Day on the 26th of January. During the Day we saw the Harbour Bridge and the huge Opera House. In the evening, we looked at the wonderful fireworks in Darling Harbour and after that, we went out.

Am nächsten Tag war Austarlian Day. Wir waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs und sahen die Harbour Bridge und das Opera House. Am Abend machten wir uns dann chic und gingen nach Darling Harbour um das Feuerwerk zu sehen danach gingen wir aus.

We had two rainy Days left in Sydney. We went inside the Opera House and to the Aquarium.

On Monday at 6pm we took the bus back to Byron Bay,but no one knews what was gonna happen until this trip. We drove till Crafton and than the flood blocked us from driving forward. So then, we stayed two Days in a boring City called Coffs harbour waiting for the water to be gone. It was really funny with the people around me.

Am Montag um 18:00 fuhr der Bus von Sydney zurück nach Byron bay. Wir wussten nicht ob wir es bis nach Byron Bay schaffen wegen dem Regen aber wir nahmen das Abenteuer auf uns. Wir fuhren bis Crafton und dann mussten wir stoppen wegen der Flut. Alle Hightways waren gesperrt und wir mussten zwei TAge in Coffs Harbour warten bis das Wasser weg war. Es waren zwei lustige Tagen, da wir eine sehr lustige Truppe waren.

 

On the 31st January, we went back to our lovely Byron Bay and went directly to School. It was an amazing trip to Sydney and back.
